Hi All,
I got a flat avail ASAP in Oriental Bay. Its a stunning little place, although you'll have to have strong legs to live here!
Only 12 mins from Courtney Place, its a self contained one bedroom flat, built in a converted basement.
Best features are the Rent to Cental Location Ratio $170 p/w and the proximity to Oriental Beach 40seconds.
Would suit single person or close couple. Surrounded by massive ancient native trees, it dsnt have a view of the sea but it does have the feel of living in a NZ forest. I wake up every morning to Tui's calling me.
I am moving away so need a new tenant really really quickly.

Hi guys! We've recently heard from our landlord that the people in the flat above us have chosen not to stay on for another year, so there's a 3-bedroom flat available for $570/wk from the end of January.
It is in a great area in Mt Cook/Aro/Brooklyn (nominally Mt Cook, but at the very bottom of Brooklyn Road and close to Shalimar, Aro Fish'n'chip, etc). Close to town (five minutes walk to the top of Cuba, ten minutes walk to Willis St/Lambton Quay). Our landlord is lovely and dealing with him directly means no property management letting agencies and all that faff. It's a really beautiful old refurbished house - we haven't been in upstairs, but given the standard down here, it's likely to have a great kitchen, new carpet and paint, etc. The upstairs flat has a deck and gets loads of sun, and awesome downstairs neighbours :P
For the last six months we have been suffering from loud music played at 2am on weeknights, yelling and stomping and heffalumping, and general unpleasantness. There is huge insulation between the two flats (we don't hear footsteps or TVs playing at all, and we don't mind a bit of loud music at the right time and place) so it shouldn't have to be this way! So if you are NOT a heffalump, and are looking for an awesome 3-bdrm flat with a deck, let us know and we'll pass your details on to the landlord.

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy hollographic tape in Wellington. What I'm looking for is pretty sparkly tape similar to electrical tape or special present wrapping tape. It's for decorating hulahoops. So far I've tried warehouse stationary and hardware stores but haven't ahd any luck. Has anyone seen anything like this somewhere?

Hey Everyone,
Since Wellington is so small and all, and pretty much we all know each other one way or another I though it might be helpful to post the details of my Leaving Party here. Im off to Canada soon having lived in Wellington my entire adult life I reckon theres a few people out there that might wanna say good bye or maybe have some scores to settle. Perhaps you just wanna come down and have a party, I have many fingers in many different pies so Im hoping its going to be a super diverse group, so far there have been offers off fire dancers, drag shows, kapa haka, DJ's, and strangely a mime.

Hello! I noticed how some people don't know Meisa Kuroki (or even doesn't noticed how good she is). She's such an awesome girl: Model, Actress and now Singer. As a singer, she needs your support.

About her
Kuroki Meisa is a Japanese model, actress, and singer. She models primarily for the magazine JJ.
Kuroki Meisa was originally a member of the Okinawa Actors Studio group B.B.WAVES, and in February 2004 made her official acting debut starring in the stageplay "Butai Atsumi Satsujin Jiken Heijou kara Kita Onna Keiji" with the theatre group Kitaku Tsukakouhei. The same month she debuted as a model for JJ. She continued to model for the magazine and obtained more and more drama roles, with her film career beginning in 2005. Kuroki has also continued to be a stage actress, and in 2005 and 2006, starred in the stageplay adaptation of "Azumi" and its sequel as Azumi.
Kuroki made her singing debut in 2008 with the digital release of the song "Like This," which is being used for TOSHIBA's Sportio/W62T commercials. Kuroki is on the Sony Music label, but it is unknown when or if the song will be released physically. Meisa had originally sung in the 2007 drama Crows ZERO, but not under her birth name.
